Please read carefully SAP consulting note 113288 - Usage probability in characteristics planning

For an AND link the usage probabilities of the characteristic values are multiplied by each other

For object dependencies that are linked with 'OR' the usage probabilities of the characteristic values are added and the common intersection is subtracted.
