Dear Soumaya,
Thanks for your response. We already had a look at this thread, but did not quite understand the solution. We are currently running with the SAPJVM which is installed by the IPS installer (IPS is a minimal version of SAP BO XI). SAPJVM is installed in F:\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\sapjvm\
The version of SAPJVM is (as reported by ‘java –version’):
java version "1.6.0_75"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 6.1.066)
SAP Java Server VM (build 6.1.066 24.55-b13, May 7 2014 18:40:24 - 61_REL - opt
U - windows amd64 - 6 - bas2:217766 (mixed mode))
As mentioned, this is installed as part of the the SAP IPS installer. We did not install a separate Java JRE or JDK 1.8. Furthermore: according to SAP Note 1668835 – “How to upgrade the JRE and JDK version provided by BOE XI 3.1 and BOE BI 4.0?”: “…The process of upgrading the SAP JVM located in the ..\SAP BusinessObjects \SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\sapjvm directory is not officially tested with Business Objects 4.0 and can result in a unstable install and hence not recommended…”
Kind Regards,
Jaap Hendriks
